Representing your business interests to these organizations:

• Saskatchewan Liquor & Gaming Authority meets with the SHHA executive on a regular basis to discuss issues and proposed legislative changes that will affect the hospitality industry. Officials from the Authority also attend an annual panel session during the SHHA convention where members have the opportunity to question government programs and their decision making process.
• Service & Hospitality Safety Association works with member employers and employees in prevention of accidents, understanding of and compliance with applicable legislation and having an early return to work strategy and program in place after a workplace injury.
• Server Intervention Program administered by the Saskatchewan Tourism Education Council trains your employees in the responsible serving of alcohol to your customers. Operators working within the hospitality sector have become increasingly aware of their social responsibility to their customers and practice good risk management strategies.
• Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency implements assessment services for the majority of our members properties. The SHHA monitors changes to assessment practices through the Commercial Advisory Committee.
• Canadian Taxpayers Federation, Canadian Federation of Independent Business & the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce aligns with the SHHA on many important presentations to government on your behalf.
